Zine Release Activity with Angelo Caruso

When was the last time you closed your eyes, reached out, and touched a tree? What about the smoothness of a sand-worn shell on the beach? Or felt the breeze on your skin at a park? This zine captures the essence of these tactile experiences. Make this piece yours - it’s not intended to stay flat. This zine asks you to poke holes in it to create a three dimensional tactile artwork. Everything gets crumpled, ruffled, or folded at some point. Why not now? There’s the skin of a crocodile that you can reach out to touch, ants tracing a trail along the forest floor, or the swish of seagrass at the bottom of the bay waiting to be felt.

Free and open to the public! RSVP here.
