Table read of Martha Raoli’s ENTER WAVE

Join us for a special event for our latest publication ENTER WAVE!

Set on the shores of Ditch Plains, this sharp and comedic play follows a spirited Socratic debate among surfers, kooks, and cultists, as they explore themes of ecstasy and romance. At the heart of the story is Stokinetics, an exercise cult that practices partnered routines to recreate the bliss of the 'stoke'—detached from love, sex, and even surfing itself. Their presence disrupts the delicate social order of a small American beach town built on surf culture's ethos. When a Manhattan socialite joins their ranks, Enter Wave dives into a thought-provoking meditation on the politics of pleasure and the female body.

This event is free and open to all—catch the wave with us! 🌊
