PRINTFEST `25


Celebrate the magic of printmaking and book arts at this all-ages event! The afternoon will feature a curated pop-up print fair by EXILE Projects, a library open house, food trucks, and a hands-on accordion book collage workshop with artist Nicole Combeau. Create your own masterpiece, and don't forget to snag a complimentary teen-made zine from this year's Zines for Progress students.

Co-presented with the City of Miami Beach STEAM+ program. The Batchelor Foundation, the Tamara L. Harris Foundation, the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Family Fund, the Seligman Family Foundation, and the City of Miami Beach support this Discovering Design program.

Join us Sunday, May 11, from 3–4 PM at Books & Books for Espresso Editions with Neil Brideau, founder of Radiator Comics.

Based in Miami, Radiator Comics distributes and publishes small press and self-published comics from over 275 artists worldwide. Neil will share his experience building platforms for independent cartoonists and the role of comics in community storytelling.

Moderated by Amanda Keeley, Espresso Editions is a conversation series on publishing, creativity, and advocacy—generously supported by the City of Coral Gables.

About:

Neil Brideau (He/Him) runs Radiator Comics, a distributor and publisher of small press and self-published comics, representing over 275 alternative cartoonists and presses from around the world. Neil was a founding co-organizer of the Chicago Zine Fest and the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo, and worked at the legendary Quimby's Bookstore for six years. He has served as a juror for the 2017 Ignatz Awards, and the 2023 Kinnard Awards. Neil lives in Miami, FL, and self-publishes his own all-ages comics in his spare time!
